Digital Detox Experience in Alentejo
The challenge with placemaking can often be creating something from nothing. But sometimes it’s the nothing that’s the pulling force of the place.
Sollo Life has done just that. In the middle of the open cork oak covered fields of Alentejo, known in Portuguese as “montado”, Sollo provides a digital escape that surly will submerge you in nature and allow you to reconnect with what’s truly important in life.
We went there to document the experience from a guest's perspective with the focus on the creativity that comes with being detached from the outside world for a couple of days. So we loaded our analog cameras with fresh rolls to document this digital detox as authentically as possible.
The project resulted in videos and photos of us indulging in the numerous "analog activities" the cabin has to offer. The content was produced to strengthen the Sollo brand and shine light on the guest experience for their various social platforms.
